PROSOZ Herten GmbH and Intric Announce Collaboration to Pilot Sovereign AI Infrastructure in German Municipal Administrations

Stockholm, April 21, 2026 — PROSOZ Herten GmbH and Intric have announced a collaboration to pilot AI-supported transcription and conversation documentation for German municipal administrations. The solution is GDPR-compliant and operated within European infrastructure.
The pilot will be conducted across several municipalities and districts, covering a variety of cross-departmental use cases: transcription of citizen consultations, documentation of internal case discussions, dictation, meeting minutes, AI-supported file analysis and summaries, and knowledge transfer between staff members. Prosoz has deliberately designed the collaboration around a single, cross-departmental platform – rather than relying on separate tools for each department or office.
"The current sentiment from the Innovation Forum with our pilot customers underscores the central importance of the processes being examined: they form the heart of municipal work. This product is also the first to have gone through our Innovation Forum in its entirety. Even the prototype makes it clear that there is enormous potential here for modern public administration. AI doesn't take away the work with people – it takes away the work around it. That puts the citizen back at the very center." — Verena Habbe, PROSOZ Herten GmbH
Prosoz has been providing software and consulting services to German municipalities for more than 35 years, with particular expertise in youth welfare offices, social welfare offices, and job centers – areas subject to some of the most demanding data protection obligations in the public sector. The pilot expands Intric's presence in Germany and marks the company's first collaboration with a specialized municipal software provider.
"German municipal administrations are subject to data protection obligations that most AI platforms simply aren't built for," said David Wallén, CEO of Intric. "Youth welfare records, recorded conversations with citizens, benefit decisions – this data belongs to the people it concerns. The institutions that bear responsibility for it need infrastructure that lives up to that standard. Prosoz has the institutional relationships and deep subject-matter expertise built over more than three decades inside these organizations. The question this pilot is designed to answer is not whether sovereign AI works here – but how it performs in practice: across departments, across multiple cities, under the conditions that actually apply."
