Welcome to an event with Intric
Intric is pleased to invite you to an exclusive conversation about the organization and management of artificial intelligence in the public sector.
In recent years, the use of AI in the public sector has accelerated. At the same time, there is a growing need for structured approaches to how AI should be organized, managed, and governed in a way that creates real operational value without compromising on security, control, or regulatory compliance.
The notice is short, but there is a reason for that. When the government's AI strategy was released and established that Sweden should become a leader in the use of AI in public administration, we felt that this conversation could not wait. It needs to happen now.
The theme is precisely that: not what AI could become, but what is actually required for it to work in a public organization. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together leading decision-makers in the public sector to discuss how organizations are building their AI capabilities in practice, what structures are needed for long-term management, and what lessons can be drawn from the organizations that have already taken concrete steps.
Speakers
During the morning, participants will hear presentations and experiences from organizations actively working to implement and scale AI in their operations, including:
"We will never be able to know everything, so we got started"
Lidköping Municipality shares their work on taking AI from idea to practice. They will talk about how they approached it, what they have actually done, and what they have learned along the way. Speakers: Svante Örtendahl (Development Lead) & Oskar Liljebäck (Head of Business Development), Digitalization, Lidköping Municipality.
"The journey from pilot project to municipality-wide rollout with more than 200 AI assistants"
Katrineholm shares their AI journey from 2024 up to today. They will talk about how they moved from pilot to broad implementation, what the initiative has meant in practice, and the leadership's ongoing journey toward strategic responsibility for AI. Speaker: Andreas Peterzén (CDO), Katrineholm Municipality.
The program combines shorter presentations with in-depth discussions and the exchange of experiences between participants, providing an opportunity to reflect on how AI can be organized in a strategic and sustainable way in the public sector. The program starts at 09:00, but you are welcome to join us at 08:30 for a mingle where breakfast will be served.
