When accessible, open data drives transparency, fuels innovation, and empowers citizens and civil servants. It is the raw material for better decision-making and a stronger society.
Today, public data is technically open but practically inaccessible—locked behind fragmentation, complexity, and high costs.
We want to change this.

Imagine an interface where the barrier to entry isn't coding skills or budget, but simple curiosity. We are moving from a world of fragmented portals to a unified ecosystem where public data is instantly accessible through natural language.
By connecting AI directly to the source, we turn raw, static records into immediate answers. Instead of wasting hours clicking through fragmented portals or digging through complex PDFs, you can finally just ask. Whether you need court rulings or national statistics, the manual search can be replaced by a simple conversation.

Open Source by Default
We are contributing our server implementations for Sweden, Norway, and Germany to the public domain. This is just the start, we will continue to build and release new tools to support the growing community.
The "One-to-One" Vision
We propose a collective goal: For every open dataset in Europe, there should be an open MCP interface. We hope this initiative serves as a catalyst, sparking the collaboration needed to make this a reality.

Many pioneers have already built incredible connectors. We are simply aggregating these existing efforts alongside our own into a central index, ensuring that good work is highlighted and never duplicated.

The Open Data Registry
It is not enough to just talk about open access; we need to make it discoverable. We are building the definitive catalog of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for the public sector.
This registry serves as both a toolbox and a roadmap. It lists every dataset that has been successfully "unlocked" for AI interaction, crediting the pioneers who built them.
