Landtag Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Deploys Intric to Bring Sovereign AI Assistants to Parliamentary Administration

Stockholm, 12 October 2026 — The administration of the Landtag Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has begun deploying Intric's sovereign AI infrastructure across its departments. Six AI assistants have been made available to staff, and further assistants are being developed together with the individual units, including for procurement and form handling.

Following on-site workshops with several units of the Landtag administration, including the committee secretariat, the construction department, property management and internal services, the work has concentrated on recurring, document-heavy tasks where staff spend the most time. Among the first use cases:

- Committee reports: preparing the standard structure of a committee's decision recommendation and report, pulling in text from the underlying bill, and drafting summaries of written expert statements and hearing minutes for staff to review and finalise.

- Procurement and invoices: comparing bids, preparing price comparisons and checking invoices against contracts, quantities and agreed prices.

- Forms and documents: filling in recurring official forms from known project data, and making project folders and e-mail archives searchable.

All outputs remain under staff control. Employees review and edit every draft, and finished documents are delivered in formats the administration already works with, such as Word.

The Landtag administration handles confidential committee material and non-public documents alongside public records. Intric lets each unit build and tailor assistants on its own data, under its own governance. Access to internal sources is being set up step by step, with staff deciding which documents the assistants may use. Intric also supports several language models, including models hosted in Sweden, so each assistant can use the model that best fits its task and cost profile.

"Parliamentary work depends on accuracy, confidentiality and traceability," said David Wallén, CEO of Intric. "The most valuable thing AI can do here is not replace judgement, but take over the repetitive assembly work: structuring documents, pulling text from the right source, producing a first summary. The people who know the subject matter then review and decide. The Landtag administration has approached this in exactly that way, unit by unit, starting with where the time goes. We are glad to be supporting that work."
