Espelkamp on its AI work with Intric

Our customer Espelkamp (Germany) is being highlighted in the local press

10 July 2026 In an article in Westfalen-Blatt titled “KI ist Realität im Verwaltungsalltag” (“AI is a reality in everyday public administration”), the municipality’s work to integrate AI into day-to-day operations is described — and how this is being done with Intric as the platform.

The article notes that AI has already become a reality in many organizations, but that Espelkamp wants to introduce the technology in a more structured and regulated way. The ambition is to relieve employees of repetitive tasks while strengthening service and efficiency, with a clear emphasis on data protection and organizational anchoring.

The article states that Espelkamp signed a time-limited one-year agreement in order to get started quickly and evaluate the benefits. The rollout is described as voluntary, with a focus on building acceptance and ways of working that function in practice.

According to the article, the work began in social services, where Intric-based assistants were developed to support information search and other recurring tasks within clearly defined boundaries. The initiative has then been expanded step by step through training efforts and pilot users.
